Leadership Neosho Returns

Developing informed, connected, and engaged community leaders.

A nine-month community leadership experience designed to connect emerging and established leaders with the people, organizations, and opportunities shaping Neosho's future. Through leadership development, immersive community experiences, and meaningful relationships, participants discover new ways to lead, serve, and make an impact.

About Leadership Neosho

Preparing the next generation of community leaders

Leadership Neosho exists to intentionally prepare, connect, and inspire the next generation of civic, business, and community leaders in Neosho and the surrounding area. Through relationship-building, experiential learning, and behind-the-scenes access, participants gain a deeper understanding of how our community works and how they can serve it well.

The Neosho Area Chamber of Commerce is bringing Leadership Neosho back to strengthen relationships, develop local leadership, and invest in the community's future.

Explore personal strengths, communication styles, leadership qualities, and opportunities for growth through professional development and cohort-building activities.

Experience Your Community

Go behind the scenes of the organizations and systems shaping Neosho, including government, education, healthcare, public safety, business, and industry.

Build Meaningful Relationships

Connect with fellow participants, business leaders, civic officials, and community organizations.

Understand Government & Advocacy

Experience local government firsthand and participate in a two-day Jefferson City leadership and advocacy experience.

Lead With Purpose

Explore governance, philanthropy, entrepreneurship, civic involvement, and opportunities to serve the community beyond graduation.

Leadership Neosho is limited to Approximately 12 participants. Admission is application-based and designed to create a well-rounded cohort of emerging and established leaders from across the community.

Applicants should live or work in Neosho or the surrounding area, demonstrate leadership potential, and be committed to community involvement. Participants must be prepared to commit to the published January–September program schedule.

Tuition: $1,000 per participant

Tuition invoiced by the Chamber following acceptance.
