About Leadership Neosho
A new chapter for community leadership
Leadership Neosho exists to intentionally prepare, connect, and inspire the next generation of civic, business, and community leaders in Neosho and the surrounding area.
Through relationship-building, experiential learning, and behind-the-scenes access, participants gain a deeper understanding of how our community works and how they can serve it well.
This program is rooted in the belief that strong communities are built by informed and engaged leaders who care deeply about where they live, work, and serve.
The Neosho Area Chamber of Commerce is bringing Leadership Neosho back to strengthen relationships, develop local leadership, and invest in the community's future.
Program Goals
Participants will:
- Gain firsthand knowledge of local government, education, healthcare, public safety, economic development, and community services.
- Develop relationships with community decision-makers and fellow leaders.
- Better understand the opportunities and challenges facing Neosho.
- Strengthen their leadership skills and confidence.
- Discover opportunities for board service, volunteering, and civic involvement.
- Leave with a clearer understanding of how they can contribute to Neosho's future.
